What are the design principles and forms of air distribution in industrial ventilation projects?
When we do ventilation design for an industrial plant, ventilation engineering design is involved in clean production workshop, general workshop, logistics warehouse, and activity area of staff office.
The ventilation effect of indoor environment is closely related to the air distribution in the region. So there are many kinds of air distribution, how do we choose our scheme?
The engineers in Guangzhou HaoAir Purification Technology Co.,Ltd should not only consider the specific situation of harmful substance source location, worker's operating position, harmful substance nature and concentration distribution, but also consider general problems such as regional climate, production technology and building construction.
Generally speaking, the air distribution in ventilation design should conform to three basic principles:
1.The exhaust outlet should be as close as possible to the source of harmful substances or areas with high concentration of harmful substances.
The exhaust system should expedite the discharge of harmful substances from the room.
2.The air supply outlet should be as close as possible to the operation site, and the clean air into the ventilated room should first pass through the operation site and then be discharged to the outdoor path through the polluted area.
3.The whole ventilation room, as far as possible to make the air supply uniform distribution, reduce eddy current, to avoid the accumulation of harmful substances in local areas.
According to the relationship between the position of the air supply and return vents and the airflow path in the ventilation system, the airflow organization of the ventilation system can be divided into three common modes:
The first way, up supply air and down return air
This is the most basic form of air distribution in the ventilation system. The air supply of the fresh air system is sent into the room by the air supply outlet located at the upper part of the room, while the air return outlet is located at the lower part of the room. Upper air supply and lower return air supply have been fully mixed with indoor air before entering the working area, which is easy to form uniform temperature and velocity fields.
The second way, the upper supply air and the upper return air
The air supply outlet and return air outlet are installed in the upper part of the room. The air flow is sent down from the upper part of the room. After passing through the working area, it flows back up into the return air duct.
The third way, downward air supply and upward air return
The air supply enters from the lower part of the room. The way of downward delivery enables fresh air to pass through the working area first. Because it is exhausted from the top of the room, the waste heat of the upper space can be directly discharged without entering the working area. At the same time, considering the comfort of the personnel, the air supply speed generally does not exceed 0.5-0.7 meters per second. However, it is easy to accumulate dirt by downward air supply and upward air return, which may affect the cleanliness of air supply.
